The Association of Peruvian American Professionals and the Hispanic Studies Program at Trinity College would like to invite you to attend the Interdisciplinary Conference for Educators: Incorporating Perú into the Curriculum on Saturday, September 26th at Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut.  Learn new ways to incorporate Perú into your classroom by attending the workshops on Peruvian film, literature, music, dance, history, and cuisine.

In addition to the various culture workshops presented by many talented and creative professionals, this conference will feature an authentic Peruvian lunch, a Peruvian dance performance, and a keynote address by Ministro Alfredo Chuquihuara, the Consul Adscrito from the Consulate General of Perú in Hartford.  Workshop participants will receive educational materials and activities on Perú that they will be able to use in their classrooms.  We also have two presenters traveling in from New York to present, Marcos Napa, a professional Afro-Peruvian performance artist, and Mitchell Teplitsky, director and producer of the film Soy Andina.
